All I know is when I listen to SFB on my iPod, it relaxes me and I love your unique sound. That, in my book, makes you a legimate artist. Keep on truckin because I love your music.

hmmm, i like to *think* that the stuff that i produce could fall into the "post rock" genre. sometimes i just don't really know where it fits in.

but yes, not having to rely on vocals to get the message across is a very liberating exercise, and like you, feel that it makes the song more accessible, and easier to get lost.

I'm assuming your music is also post rock. I actually like the concept of no vocals. I find it more relaxing to skip the words and just get lost in the music. I put both of your albums on my iPod and I love to just listen and relax. I may have to check out this Caspian group. They sound really good. I'm glad you enjoyed the show as much as you did.

You're definatly not a Twit if you use twitter. You're a Twit if you listen to TWIT (twit.tv) or are on a TWiT netcast. If you tweet on twitter, you must be a twitterer.

there's nothing wrong with focusing on the part of this project that makes you want to do it. my guess is that if you were honest, making this project self-sustaining is not the reason you do it. you do it because you need to do it. at that level, does it matter how much money it's making (as long as you can afford to keep it up)?

how long have you been working on this project since your main focus shifted from "getting the guitar tone exactly right" to "writing songs and going with it?" my point is that although you've been making music for a long time, it's only recently that you've gotten past the preparation and into the product. a great chef probably isn't going to approach the pinnacle of his career right after being promoted from line cook. you've got all of the parts in order now. that preparation is paying off for you because you make great sounds and understand why. it will take a little bit of time for all of that work to come to fruition, but the foundation is very solid. once it's built, the work will stand. let it come together.

If my understanding is correct, they're one of the lesser evils of the music industry... they're only trying to screw over Internet radio.

Oh wait... that means I should hate them, right? *has /. confusion*

j/k.
