Recording Update

recording is progressing. tomorrow is a day spent in the studio tracking guitars. with the drums finished (still not totally convinced they are perfect, so yeah, maybe they are good enough) it’s time for guitars. i’ve been going over the demos here and there when i can (between a day job that is very consuming and grad school) to refresh my memory of each of the parts, but it’s difficult. many of the songs were written throughout last year (no one has heard most of them) making it a challenge to remember each nuance that i included in the original performance.

the one song i’m most concerned with is “high wind advisory” being the most nuanced. so what it comes out in the studio may not be the same song as i recorded that original demo as, we’ll just have to wait and see.
