SFB On Sellaband

a friend of mine sent me a link to an interesting site, who seems to have a rather clever idea. the site is called Sellaband, and if it takes off it could hammer another nail in the coffin that will hold the rotting corpse of large corporate record companies. the idea is actually simple, bands/artists sign up, upload material and fans can help fund a recording project. if the band/artist managed to reach the goal, then they are obligated to spend the money recording a record.

its fascinating. of course i don’t have any hope to actually achieve the goal Sellaband requires you to reach ($50,000USD) that’s just crazy. but the idea is absolutely compelling.
