i’d been a member of last.fm for a while now, and in the beginning they were just an interesting diversion, but not terribly friendly to small labels and unsigned bands. well as i just learned that’s pretty well changed.

they have a pretty decent (if not a little buggy) music management system that allows us nobodies (like me) to make like we are big shots and have our music shared through their service.
