New Material

it has been a while since i posted here. i’ve been working on new material and have two new songs that in one form or another will appear on the upcoming record.

the first song was one i wrote and recorded after finally settling into my new place, something i call “drifting further out.” it, in a way, expresses something i’m experiencing - its hard to describe, but it just fits.

second is something i had just finished, a piece called “continental shelf.” that’s the area of the ocean where the main land masses fall off and the deepest part of the oceans take over. to me its a wonderful image.

so that’s pretty much it. i’ve been consumed by the day job, and am so tired lately. i recently bought a new guitar (which i used on “shelf”) but i wish i could do more, its just my energy is pretty limited lately. disappointing really.
