Long Time, Things Went Dark

i haven’t posted in an awfully long time. i’m still around, still working on the record, slowly very very slowly. i am, however, soliciting the help of an old friend who is quite good at what he does (making music) the idea being a fresh set of ears will provide some new perspective or insight into what this record should sound like.

in the time between posts i have been given a birthday gift that just really knocked me for a loop. my last post i mentioned how my digital audio interface went dead. well a bunch of very kind people chipped in and bought me a new one. just like that. i couldn’t believe it. i was overwhelmed by their kindness. in that time i have been working on new material, nothing i’d want to share right now, things are just too incomplete. but soon. soon i hope to have something i can share. its been too long.

the record, which i think is going to be called “guidance is internal” and will be released as a CD and as a limited edition 12″ vinyl record, probably on white vinyl, and will have ten songs (the CD will probably have a few extras).

so yeah, that’s about it, besides the day job, a brand new xbox360 and two new web projects, i continue on with this trek.
