Its Been Another Bad Day

“i wish things weren’t so tough for you,” a quote from a friend today.

me too. things are always difficult, and my life to date has been a pretty tough thing. oh well, that just means a considerable amount of time was spent in the studio, after work today.

i’m really putting together this song, and i even managed to work with my vocalist friend a little, and she laid down some rough scratch vocals, but she really nailed a phrase that gave the song not a different tone, but reinforced the tone I am looking for.

i may post a rough cut of this (without vocals) tomorrow. I’d like to get some feedback, see if the ideas I am wanting to get across are, well, getting across.

I’m wrapping up today by watching my director’s cut edition of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
