0×000000: A Rough Cut

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I was working on two songs. Well, I think I finished a first rough cut on one. The final version will have a much cleaner edit, and I think the mix needs some attention. Its noisy, and I was going for noisy, but perhaps its a bit too noisy.

    I’m no music critic, but I can say that I was caught off guard by the change between the first minute of the song and the rest of the song. I liked both side of the divide, though.

    BTW…The RSS feed included a flash widget that allowed me to play the song from within Google Reader. Cool beans! :-)

    that was pretty much my intention, create two very different atmospheres within the same song… i wanted it to be falling apart, noisy, machine like, and have that segue into the more organic emotional part of the song. was it completely successful? i’m not sure. thanks for listening, much appreciated!
